      "One of Ferdinan and Alvena's children, Emma, lived in the home her entire life. She was fondly referred to as 'Jack' by friends and family members. She never married and was a very feminine lady. Her sister, Sina, was born in the house in 1876 and was said to have inherited the homestead."
