SHEARMAN, RICHARD, b. 1745, NH, d. 1809, NH SPOUSE: Unknown CHILDREN: 8 children, only 1 known: Jacob Haven Sherman, Sr., b. 1787 Portsmouth, Rockingham Co., NH, d. 1850, St. Louis, MO (see separate query) COMMENTS: Richard served in Revolutionary War, enlisted 1777 in 3rd NH Regiment; engaged by Town of Portsmouth as quota for the Continental Army, and served in Fort Washington, discharged 1780. He was wounded and received a pension. Looking for any information.
