She made a codicil to her will on 9 Sept 1697, and the will was proved 12 July 1699. She was born about the time the first pilgrims arrived at Plymouth on the Mayflower. Mary and her husband were among the brave early followers, and all their children were born in the "new world": Slade Babcock Genealogy.
