- Magnolia Cemetery stated that Jim A. Beaumont was buried in a section they call the Public Grounds, and that it didn't state if he had a headstone. They had no record of his mother Fredericka. The spaces and blocks are not mapped in that section. It was just an open place that Mr. McFaddin allowed indigents and others to bury their folks.
(see note on burial of his mother Fredericka Gentz Beaumont for further analysis)

Magnolia Cemetery - Public Grounds Section Section where many local deceased were buried, indigents, as well as others needing a burial site. The section is not mapped by rows or sections. One of those buried in this section is James A (Jim) Beaumont. Location of this section: turn in middle, main entrance across street from offices. Turn right at the street by the flagpole. The road will dip, and in that dip to the left where there are few headstones is the Public Grounds.
According to W.T. Block, Fredericka Gentz Beaumont is buried here, and her son James A "Jim" Beaumont next to her. Please read the notes concering her burial for further analysis of her burial site. It is confirmed that Jim Beaumont is buried within this section. |
